Fall into Fall
Posted on October 21 2019
It’s starting to get cooler outside, so let’s think of warm and cozy fabrics for pillows, throws, quilts, etc. Think plush cable knits, plaid, flannel and faux fur. Mix textures for a luxurious and cover-worthy ensemble.
Make your own cable knit pillows from your old sweaters with this great turotial from Tidbits. (http://www.tidbits-cami.com/2015/01/re-purposed-sweater-pillows.html)
And don't forget to get warm and cozy in our premium plush girls and boys pajamas. Think fuzzy fleece onesies, robes and our plush blankets.
Add a Garland
Create your own garland using fall leaves from your local craft store. Try a string of fairy lights intertwined with your leaf garland for a bright holiday look.
For photo junkies, try an Instagram-inspired garland using your own photos or photos of your favorite fall scenes. Use string and clothespins so you can change out the photos with each season.
Hang your garland using clear damage-free hooks over your headboard or around your window or door.
Bring the Outside In
Set the scene by creating your own Pinterest worthy décor. Pick up acorns or pinecones while enjoying a walk in the crisp fall air. Make sure to prep your finds by baking them in an oven for about an hour at 200 degrees Fahrenheit to get rid of any small bugs. Spray paint in gold or silver for a glitzy feel or leave plain for natural warmth. Place items in a glass vase or dish and enjoy!
Set the Scent
Some of the best parts of fall are the rich scents that bring back memories or just remind us it’s time to go get a PSL at Starbucks! Try scented candles, lotions, or sheet spray in your favorite fall scent. Pumpkin, Apple, Vanilla, Pine and Cinnamon are all traditional fall scents.
